COMPETITION RULES (in addition to the HARD ENDURO ESTONIAN CHAMPIONSHIP (EVM) AND ESTONIAN CUP (EKV) COMPETITION RULES (http://piksepini.ee/voistlused/hardest-enduro)):
On the day of the competition, the motorcycles must be on the starting line in the closed start area at least 30 minutes before the start.
Prologue – closed course racing for the best lap time and it will determine the starting position for the main race (within 4 hours). The 1st round will start at 12:00 in the order of competition classes and competition numbers, 5 competitors per row and withi 30 second increments. There may be sections on the course where the course is divided into levels of difficulty - for different competition classes with different levels of difficulty. These places are marked with colored signs (Gold red, Silver yellow, Bronze green and Iron gray) and manned with judges. Competitors may choose a higher class section but not a lower class section.
The competition bike must not leave the track during the whole competition - place the competition bike in the box for resting.
“Duel” - registration at the reception within 45 minutes after the end of the Prologue. Each competitor can challenge a rider up to 10 places before him / her in the same competition class. If the same competitor is challenged by multiple competitors, the right remains with the challenger who finished the Prologue in a higher place. Duel pairs start in the reverse order - slower before. If the challenger wins, the places in the final protocol are exchanged. In case of a loss, the challenged rider remains in place but the challenger falls to 10 places in final ranking. If the challenge is not accepted, the challenger will receive the challenged competitors position, the challenged party will be moved to the end of the final rankings.
The start of the “Duel” races will be given 1 hour after the end of the Prologue, in pairs on a shortened track. The start order will be announced on the Information Stand of the competition at least 15 minutes before the Start.
The results of the Prologue / Duel (the start protocol of the 2nd day of the competition), will be published as soon as possible on the Information Board of the competition center and electronically on the website (http://piksepini.ee/voistlused/hardest-enduro) but not later than 2 hours before the start.
Main race (2nd day) lasting 4 hours, on the Reastvere track, on the principle of duration driving.
It will be started in rows according to the places earned in the Prologue and "Duel" (5 competitors in a row, 30 seconds apart), regardless of the competition class. Time starts with the start of the first starting line. The finish closes + 4h30min from the start. There may be sections on the course where the course is divided into levels of difficulty - for different competition classes with different levels of difficulty. These places are marked with the same color as number plates on the competition number (Gold red, Silver yellow, Bronze green and Iron gray) and with manned judges. Competitors may choose a higher class section but not a lower class section.
Competitor must cross the timeline at least once to receive the result letter.
The final ranking is determined by the number of laps completed and the better time.
Outside assistance is prohibited for all GOLD class competitors during the whole competition. SILVER / BRONZE / IRON class competitors are allowed to use outside assistance, except In the "NO HELP" sections. Competitors themselves may assist fellow competitors with the exception of driving / driving another competitor's motorcycle.
Track judges may assist all competitors to avoid dangerous situations or major congestion on the track.
Competitors are not allowed to use telephone / radio communication during the competition.
Competitors should use only the track. However, if they accidentally leave the track, they may continue by safely re-entering the track, without gaining an advantage, from the closest point to where they left the course.
Track cutting is forbidden. The penalty for attempting to gain an advantage by track cutting will be from 5 minutes time penalty to disqualification, at the Jury ́s discretion.
